SHARING:
TACT2019 is a festival built on the concept of “exchange’’. It is an authentic barter of artistic knowledge and techniques, thus the complete absence of awards and rankings. During the TriesteACT Festival, companies belonging to different artistic realities interact with each other.

It is therefore requested that:
– Each company needs to be actively present during the whole festival from the 9th to the 16th of June 2019 ;
– Attendees need to take part in one of the workshops for the whole week;
– Each company needs to propose a play which will be performed for the public.

WORKSHOP:
every company should propose a 5-day workshop for a total of 15 hours  directed by their own pedagogue or director. If both the company and the workshop are selected, the company will receive an additional bonus of € 500.

YOUNG:
TACT 2019 is a “young” theatre festival; 70% of the company has to be under 35 years old. 10 companies will be selected and will have the chance to perform; each play must have at least 5 actors on stage.

INTERNATIONAL:
Companies from every nation can apply to the festival. Plays will be performed in the original languages.. Before the 15th March 2019 each company needs to send to the Organizing Committee an English translation of the script and to provide its respective surtitles organized in scenes. This will allow performances to be accessible to everyone.

WHERE:
This year, TACT festival will exceptionally take place in a suggestive location: Porto Vecchio Trieste.
Abandoned for years, Porto Vecchio it’s now slowly coming back to life. We want to give these warehouses a whole new life through art and creation, in order to turn what once was a place of trade for goods in a place where we can trade art.
That’s our challenge for this edition.

TECHNICIANS:
Each company has to bring along a technician of his own.
Together with a technician provided by TACT festival, he will coordinate the  audio and light settings.

BENEFITS:
TACT 2019 organization will provide:
– free accommodation and meals (breakfasts and dinners);
– a refund for travelling expenses up to 500 euros (receipts are strictly required) and according to the distance in kilometres;
– a 500 euros bonus for professional companies;
– a 500 euros bonus should the workshop be selected;
– a 200 euros bonus for the “New Dramaturgies”.

SCAMBIO:
TACT2019 è un Festival di scambio, un autentico baratto artistico, senza premi e senza una classifica. Al TACT Festival convivono compagnie internazionali professioniste, scuole di teatro e gruppi giovanili selezionati sulla base delle proposte artistiche inviate.

Per questo si richiede che:
– Ogni compagnia/gruppo sia presente per l’intera durata del Festival, cioè dal 9 al 16 giugno 2019 compresi; 
– Tutti i partecipanti al Festival si impegnano a partecipare ad uno dei workshop per l’intera settimana;
– Ogni compagnia/gruppo dovrà presentare uno spettacolo aperto al pubblico;

WORKSHOP: Ogni gruppo è invitato a presentare la proposta di un workshop (di 15 ore in 5 giorni) condotto dal proprio regista o pedagogo. Se, oltre alla compagnia, viene selezionato anche il workshop proposto, la compagnia riceverà un ulteriore bonus di euro 500.

GIOVANI:
TACT è un festival di teatro giovane: è richiesto a ogni gruppo che il 70% dei partecipanti sia under 35. Il Festival selezionerà 10 compagnie internazionali, ognuna con un numero minimo di 5 partecipanti in scena.

INTERNAZONALE:
Possono partecipare al TACT gruppi di qualunque nazionalità con spettacoli in qualunque lingua. E’previsto un servizio di sovratitolaggio in lingua inglese per tutti gli spettacoli. E’ richiesto quindi ai gruppi partecipanti di fornire il testo dello spettacolo presentato in lingua inglese e una suddivisione dei sovratitoli per scene all’organizzazione entro il 15 marzo 2019.

IL LUOGO:
Il protagonista di questa edizione del TACT festival sarà il Porto Vecchio di Trieste, un luogo che per molti anni è stato abbandonato e che ora, pian piano, sta riprendendo vita. Noi vogliamo riportare tra questi edifici la vita, l’arte e la creazione e far sì che un luogo che per tanti anni ha ospitato lo scambio di merci, ospiti oggi un baratto artistico. Ecco la nostra sfida di questa edizione.

TECNICA:
Ogni gruppo partecipante è tenuto ad essere accompagnato da un proprio tecnico che si occupi e coordini la gestione dello spettacolo insieme ai tecnici offerti dall’organizzazione.

BENEFICI:
L’organizzazione di TACT2019 offre ad ogni gruppo selezionato:
– vitto parziale, alloggio;
– rimborso spese di viaggio per un massimale di 500 euro se rendicontabile e in relazione alla distanza chilometrica;
– un bonus di 500 euro per le compagnie professioniste;
– un bonus di 200 euro per le “nuove drammaturgie”;
– un bonus di 500 euro se il workshop proposto viene selezionato;
